So, without going into details about my 15 year relationship with my partner, I just need some advice about how best to do this.

Bottom line is, I've been unhappy & I don't love him anymore, and I want to seperate.

How do I actually say this? Has anyone who has had to have this talk offer any advice?

Well the best way is to do it outside of the home, on a walk. If you ask him to go for a walk with him he might sense something's coming...especially if this isn't something you usually do.

You can't soften the blow though. How do you think he'll react? Is he a calm sort of a person?
