Boyfriend of 5 months heavily into named clothing. I do wear named stuff but not as much as him.

He's bought me cheap named clothes recently which I've been happy with, things he thought I would like, for example my favourite colours and styles.

He said the other day "now you're 80% cooler than when I first met you" (joking)

What would you think?

Hmm. Some guys are just like this, love their labels, probably a bit of a show off. Nothing wrong with that but if he tries to change you so you are "cool" like him, then that's where I'd say fuck right off. Fine to dress however you want but an adult would respect and embrace their partners individuality, not try and change it.

It would make me really uncomfortable I'm sorry to say. Shallow as fuck and NOT a good look
