I don’t want to go into detail, but a colleague has told me they were beaten up by their partner. She has a safety net and is well supported at home.
How do you support someone without overstepping the mark? what can I do as a colleague? I feel so desperately sad for her but don’t want to draw attention to her either :(. Is being there willing to listen enough?
