I am married but lonely as fuc$ ! Nothing works, I am always sad and miserable but can’t raise our kid on my own!
I am not even sure if he is loyal!
Drowning myself at work the only thing that gives some distraction, eating my emotions, empty and blue!
There is no emotional comfort, no physical contact, he comes to bed after I have fallen asleep, I am so f$&)(ing miserable

Loads of women bring up children alone. Of course you can. Why put up with this? Have you spoken to him about it at all?

You cannot change him but you can change how you react here rather than trying and failing to drown yourself in work and comfort eating. All that will do is create even more work and problems for your own self.

Have you never considered divorce?. And if not why not?.

Why do you think you cannot raise your child on your own?. Staying presumably for the sake of the child is a bad idea here as it teaches them damaging lessons about relationships. Your child seeing you downtrodden and miserable as you are now will impact them markedly. You do not have to be miserable and sad as you are now forever, there is always a way out.

What are your worries about looking after your child on your own?

I’ve been a lone parent for 17 years and there are also others here if you wanted to run your worries past us.

(I thought your thread was titled “lonely in M and S” and I thought that sounded like a nice afternoon out!)
