On obsessions and more

Hi all,

Just looking for thoughts and personal experiences, and of course, words of wisdom.

I developed a crush/obsession on a same sex colleague a few years ago while working together for less than a week. It developed into a rapid friendship that turner quickly into an emotional rollercoaster that only lasted 2-3 months. After having cut contact more than a year ago I am in a much better place but cannot help noticing she’s still popping in my head every day. It was an odd attraction, as I don’t like her physically or spiritually, but the obsessive part was very intense. I am very chilled otherwise, with no attraction towards other women. Just wondering what could be the cause of all this? This has really taken me by surprise.
