Advice please on family fall outs where people actively avoid each other and not come to events. This has been going on around 10 years

A couple of big events coming up next year for the in laws. They have asked my advice as they are getting on and worried they wont be able to celebrate as a family ever again. I feel sorry for them and ive tried to stay impartial over the years but then get accused of sitting on the fence. You cant win.

How do we move forward? These are adults acting like kids
