Do the siblings who are the "golden child" believe they deserve their elevated status? I ask because on the few times I have pointed out to dbro the difference in the way we are treated, he always shrugs it off. Is he embarrassed by the difference, or does he think it's only fair that he is treated better because he deserves it.
