I've been with my partner for 2 years, we live together, I'm divorced but he's still married and she lives in the house they own, he pays half the mortgage even though they've been separated for 4 years he doesn't seem bothered by this situation and does not seem concerned with getting divorced! Should I stay in this relationship

How can we answer this? We don’t know him, his situation or you.
Do they have kids? Does he have anoint money to pay the mortgage and contribute to your household? Do you doubt his commitment?
There are too many unanswered questions.

He does seem to be stuck in the past, or very lazy to sort his life. I presume he isn’t in a rush to marry again.

Nope

Stay if he's good in bed and that's all you want

If you're after a commited relationship then youre barking up the wrong tree.

I have kids from my marriage but they have none, he has a decent job but hasn't been contributing as much but will never miss a mortgage payment, I would like to get married but can't see it happening, she has been in several relationships too

One needs to buy the other out or sell and split the profit. If they had children I think you could understand it but this would be unacceptable to me. What is his long term plan? Keep paying a mortgage for a house that he doesn’t live in? All the while you are helping to facilitate this as he’s not contributing a much as he should.

I’d have a frank discussion with him about a plan forward or get rid?

khloe1975 · 09/11/2021 20:39

Yeah had many a discussion about it but nothing changes, think I'm wasting my time, thanks for your opinion just needed to hear it from other peoples sides as he seems to think I'm over reacting about it all

Wow, that's enough ammunition to "get rid".

Have a relationship without living together.

The fact that nothing has changed and he thinks you're over reacting is more than enough reasons to show you that you deserve much better than this.
