Our first video call and chat... So nervous. How to stay calm?

So... I've been chatting with a man online for over a year now. We've messaged daily and text several times a day. Have also swapped photos of each other and seem to get on well. He seems a lovely person and we have become good friends (well in cyberspace I mean, obvioulsly haven't met in person before).
It's not an OLD site we 'met' on, it's more a site to do with a shared interest/hobby.
Today he asked how I'd feel about having a web video meeting on Skype or Zoom (or similar). I'd love to give this a try but feel so nervous haha.. The conversation flows really well in text and email, I just don't want to get all nervous in a face to face situation. Has anyone on this group had a similar experience? Any tips to calm nerves?

No tips apart from it doesn't sound that big a deal and you seem to have built it up a lot in your head?

Are you hoping this might turn into a romantic long distance relationship?
You seem to have been chatting a very long time.

Pull the plaster off basically. You’ve both waited long enough! Just have the call and chat about your shared interest if you’re feeling nervous - that’s solid ground.

Another option could be a voice only call to start with if video is too much?

That's such a long time to have not done this already. Hope it goes well!
