Dating after long term relationship/marriage?

How long did everyone leave it before dating after their marriage/long term relationship ended?
Is there a right time?

There isn't a right time, there could possible be a wrong one - but that's more to do with your own "recovery" and being in the right place.

Children should obviously be considered.

After exH left I was in no state for about 10 months and started seeing my DH2 a bit after that.

Similarly after DH2 died it was about 10 months before I was ready to have any real interaction with the world in general, and I started seeing the bloke I'm currently seeing about 14m after DH died.
