Has anyone got a good self help book recommendation please?
I’m mid thirties. My exh cheated on me and messed me around for a year after. I feel like I’m still living in that limbo land. Piled on weight, lethargic, depressed, everything is an effort etc
All the self help books I see are all mainly US writers for career minded women.
I just want to read someone’s story who has gotten out of the funk, lost weight, move more, less stressed, happier etc

A bit late here, but I hope you're OK @Lostsoulz. I can recommend something from the modern stoics on how to accept both yourself and an unfair world, and not let the bad stuff break you - like:

Derren Brown - Happy
Or the shorter and lighter Mark Manson - The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*

You don't need a book. Just don't date men who cheat.
