You chipped away at my self respect
You chipped away at my boundaries
You chipped away at my self worth
You chipped away at my mental health
You chipped away at my self love
Your chip on your shoulder will be your undoing

I deserve kindness
I deserve love
I deserve peace of mind when I'm at home
I deserve a break
I deserve to enjoy my own interests in my own time
I deserve boundaries
I deserve respectful sex
I deserve to be listened to
I deserve happiness
I deserve the love of my children because I love them too

Today, I started the painful process of freeing myself from a narcissist who has been fogging up my mind for years.

Today I finally have hope again for the future.

And I owe some of my freedom to the good people of this board who call out narcissistic abuse and have an astonishing radar for it.

Thank you to all such posters Wine. I am so grateful.

Look after yourself. You need the hide of a rhino for this. Every day I unscramble my brain a tiny bit more and I'm so sad to see how unkind I've been to myself and to other people while under his influence. I was never that unkind before I met him. It's really sad.
