I've been in a "friend's with benefits" situation since March, the most recent time we got together he told me "I want to be with you so bad" Does this mean he is catching feelings? I'm not sure what to do

Ask him?

I would but it's one of those where if I do he might get funny about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are you sure you view him as FWB only?

To me this phrase means he is very horny and wants to have sex.
If he wanted to date you - he’d be asking you out on a date.

Was it sent when you were discussing your next meet? I.e. were you chatting about sex. It's a nice thing to say but on its own, wouldn't say it indicates catching feelings. I've said similar to my FWB and I just meant I physically craved them (was horny ) x

Like pp have said, I too think it just meant he was very horny. He wanted you physically, not as a relationship. I've certainly said that before and just meant I really fancied them in that moment . What was the context he said it in?

If he wanted to date you, he'd have this conversation in a serious way or ask you out on a date. Is there a reason you think he wouldn't just tell you/ask you directly?

I would take it as he wants to be in the moment with you.

Just ask. If it goes weird at least you know.

I want to keep things as they are, casual. But after he said that I wasn't sure if he was expecting more from the situation which I don't & I don't want to give him that impression. Thanks for your help 👍
