Couples self help book (Porn related)

Just wanted to share a tool with those of you, who like me, felt/feel like you're going mad and going round in circles after discovering your partner had been accessing porn regularly on line. Its a book called 'love you, hate the porn' ( available on Amazon) and is a couples book designed to work through the feelings and emotions attached after such a revelation or discovery.

I haven't finished it yet, but it has been such an absolute godsend to me already, helping me make sense of the negative cycle my relationship has gone through and only wish I had found it sooner. I really did underestimate to power of something like this and for the first time in a long time am starting to feel at peace.

If you're going through a similar battle, then I would very highly recommend it.

Thank you so, so much for that. We've had big issues with porn in our relationship, mainly him choosing to use it rather than have sex with me. I've tried to be accepting of it, but the fact that he's so secretive about it really upsets me. I don't have a problem with porn in and of itself, I just feel rejected.

You're very welcome. I can sympathise with what you are saying and experiencing as I'm sure so many other partners can too. The real revelation to me was for so long I thought I should just accept it, thought I was over reacting and tried to push these 'waves' of emotion down and focus on my marriage, however I just kept going through a cycle. This book has shown me and my husband that what we have been going through since I found out, was sadly to same as many other couples. It has supported him in seeing it through my eyes, it has supported me to see it through his and so far it has been like we could have written the book ourself as we have experienced it all word for word. Its not an easy read, we have both had some tears, but for the first time in a very long time I can see an end to this vicious cycle of emotion. Best of luck and remember you are beautiful x
