Has anyone had this and did it help save your marriage even in the worst case?

We're about to have couples counselling and I've got to say I feel terrified....terrified at the thought it may not work...

First of all if both of you really want your marriage to be fixed the couples counsellor will give you tasks or space to say what you want to heal.....BUT....you both have to want to work hard at getting where you want to go. The counsellor can never fix you, they just help to fix yourselves. It wont work if one is just going along just to appease the other but really wants out. Figure out where you think you both are right now. Counsellors can also be really helpful if you both come to realise that the marriage is over and can facilitate a positive ending to the marriage.
