Wrote on his white board all the insults

Today I decided to write down on his white board in his office, every insult he gave me. They ranged from:
I look like a man (he was only joking)
I create jobs for him
I’m thick
Middle Aged mum

Would like some reaction to this

LTB

OrangeIsTheNewRed · 08/10/2021 22:43

Yes. Ltb.

LorenzoVonMatterhorn · 08/10/2021 22:43

Why?

LastStraw123 · 08/10/2021 22:44

What does ltb mean?

I think this would be a great thing to do if you then left home at the same time, just leaving the messages there.

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/10/2021 22:44

What’s his reaction? Surely that’s the most important thing to you?

Mine is it’s not a good relationship and this isn’t a good way to communicate.

LastStraw123 · 08/10/2021 22:45

He thought it was funny.

LTB = leave the bastard.

He laughed? and how did you respond to that OP? he thinks insulting you and making you, the mother of his children (I presume) feel worthless - what's his point OP, have you asked him why he wants his life to be shit too, by making his partner unhappy?

Fuck that shit - bye, bye man-child - back to mommy's for you.

AnneLovesGilbert · 08/10/2021 23:21

It’s not funny. And he won’t start treating you better because he clearly doesn’t respect you.

What are you going to do?

Pinkbonbon · 08/10/2021 23:31

So he has basically shown you via his response to it that he has no empathy for you and worse, he actively enjoys hurting you.

Take this as your clarity to leave the horrible man.

He is happy that you remeber all the cruel things he said because he means you pain.

Tomorrow, wipe them all off and write 'freedom' instead, then ltb. He won't be so smug then.

Pinkbonbon · 08/10/2021 23:34

Ot better still, choose a different coloured marker and write over them with affirmations. Like 'I am valid', 'I am strong','I have value', 'I am beautiful'.

And end it with 'and I'm leaving you'.

I am a middle aged mum, I do look a bit blokey and I'm sure someone has had to do something as a result of me at some point and I also don't know everything in some areas, so I am thick.

To be honest he doesn't seem to be very good at insults, but that's often the case with a young, feminine, genius of a man who is practically perfect in every way. You lucky lucky girl!

What's the worst insult you've thrown his way? Did it rhyme with thick or clucking runt? Why not?
