Since going back to work 3 years ago after maternity leave our bills have been split 50/50 even though H earns double what I do. We spoke about this a few weeks back and he agreed to pay an extra £100 . Tonight we have had a blazing row because I've taken out a a contract for a samsung watch. Even if he hadn't said he'd pay more towards the bills I would have got one but where money is concerned he constantly belittles me questions what I do with it. It turned into the usual where he turns an argument around so that I am in the wrong and that I have made the argument worse even though I'm only standing up for myself. As I tried to walk away he grabbed me and pushed me onto the sofa and swore at me when I did walk away. I'm so fed up of this happening all the time but financially I know I can't leave him. I just don't know what to do.
