my boyfriend (26) and me (26) have gotten into a relationship and we’ve fallen very quickly for each other. when we got together i knew he worked away, no less than 2 months on and 2 months off. i’ve always said i’ll be there for him coming home but i will always find it difficult. well today the time came and he’s gone, he’s doing a week in london then 8 (about) weeks on a ship offshore. how do i cope about missing him? for abour 3 days before he left i cried ans when dropping him off at the station i cried.
how do i make these 9 weeks fly by? i work full time and study on an evening so my weekdays will go fast, but my weekends and half terms i am absolutely dreading having no contact with him :(
does it get easier?

The feelings don't change, but you get better at dealing with it. Routine helps. If you have contact, try to arrange it for a particular time of day , so you don't spend days waiting for a call. Keep busy. Make the most of the me time !
