Met a guy on a night out last night who lives several hours away, we hit it off but didn’t sleep together (he suggested going back to this). This morning he messaged asking if I was around and saying he was going to check in at a local hotel to chill... Obviously implying he wanted to meet for sex. I suggested getting a drink at a local pub instead (he agreed) but I feel a bit flat now. Do I bother going? I did like him but not dtf this early on and don’t feel excited now...

It sounds like you’re both on completely different pages. He’s visiting this part of the country for a few days or something? And fancied a holiday fling or whatever. You sound like you think you’ve actually “met” someone and would like to get to know them better with a view to a potential relationship.

He’s been pretty brazen about what he wants from you so I would say it’s unlikely that you’re going to be riding off into the sunset together. Either don’t go, or do and make sure you have fun! ONSs can be a lot of fun. But don’t expect to see him again.
