3 months single after 30 years of long relationships and I'm really starting to enjoy this! I've found that I get more offers from friends and acquaintances to go places with them than ever before and am making the effort to say yes when I can. My life has never been so interesting!
Not looking for a partner still, my walls are still flying up when a man tries talking to me. Keeping an eye on that though, don't want to be unnecessarily nasty, but it has made me realise how damaged I've been from past relationships...
One big lesson I've learned is to pay more attention to how I'm getting home from a night out after having a very nasty experience when a friend of a friend gave me a lift home and things nearly went very wrong. I'll now make sure I'm on a bus route and have taxi money in my purse.
So, on with the next month! Will be interesting to see if I feel different as the nights start to close in...
