I can't stop thinking about my ex from years ago!!

I've had many failed relationships, I even fell pregnant and got a baby out of one of them. I am now currently single and I have to say I'm happy being single and just focusing on myself and my baby. I seem to jump into relationships and then after a while become bored and end them. It isn't a great trait to have.

I can't stop thinking of one of my ex's from years ago (not my child's Father). This particular ex popped into my head whilst I was pregnant for some random reason and since then I haven't been able to escape thinking of him.

We dated for over 2yrs and we broke up over 2yrs ago. I hadn't thought of him since we broke up but for the past 7 months ish I haven't been able to get him out my head and I really don't know why!!

I'm aware he has moved on and seems happy which is great. I am happy for him. I'm not sad or even miss him as such. It's like a part of me some what regrets finishing things with him. Things didn't end well with my daughters Father and I also think that is subconsciously making me think about past relationships and who I'd rather be my child's Dad.. as awful as that sounds.
Does any of this make sense? Have I answered my own question? I don't know.. but I think about this ex EVERY. DAY!

If he's moved on and happy op you need to do the same. I don't mean move on with someone else, sounds like you need some lone time with you and your dd. Forget him and stop giving him the head space if he's moved on
