So not wanting to go into too much detail but I won a competition on holiday twice this week beating DH on one occasion and 5 people the other time.
DH had publicly joked that I only won because he was the only competitor and he had a valid reason to not win ignoring the other win.
This was a hobby type competition not crazy golf level and it was something I had never done before.
I know it is trivial but it is not the 1st time he has done similar.
Just don't understand why he feels the need to put me down.
He of course doesn't think he has down anything wrong but the couples we are with certainly raised eyebrows.

Hmmm.... it's really hard to say without being there. But the fact there were raised eyebrows among people who were there is telling.
Sounds like his ego can't handle it.

Yeah I am sure that is part of it. Come to think of it he also took the micjey out of ne for something else. He would call it banter but I was embarrassed. Will have to have a chat now home.

I think it will be fascinating to hear his point of view when you do have a chat about it. The psychology of the threatened male Grin.

He presumably feels his masculinity? or sports prowess will be under threat after this, not realising that acting like an extremely bad loser is so much worse!
