DH's temper with things

DH takes things - inanimate objects - not working, very personally. He's a bit John Cleese about it to be honest. Talks about things being 'hard and nasty' if his mouse won't work, or the printer won't work.

He works from home full time now so no moderating influences.

If something is in his way he'll throw it on the floor or shove it with his foot.

Talks to himself a lot.

Is this normal male behaviour or is he just mad?

Do you hear him do it when you are out of the room too? Just checking that you don't feel it is fone in a way to make you feel intimidated or something?

Not male behaviour in this house.

gamerchick · 19/08/2021 17:16

Husband flung something across the room once in temper and I went down his throat. I don't care if he's stressed, he doesn't display anger like that in front of me like ever and that it's intimidating. He hasnt done it since.

Doing shit like that often would be a come to Jesus conversation.

It could be normal, it could be incredibly rare. What do you feel about it? Is it acceptable to you? Would you like it to stop?

DP does this too.
He doesn't shove things out the way or kick them but has a full on rant at household objects. It's not just something he does when I'm in to guilt me into doing stuff it's just how he is.
I came home last week to him having a full on argument with a veg peeler for being blunt.
It's like anything that doesn't work properly is doing it deliberately to piss him off.

I leave him too it
