Hello you lovely mums in big city.

I'm not without experience of cities but would appreciate some tips for Camden.

DD has been given small scholarship to attend museums for a few days.

I've paid for hotel in Camden.

Not sure which things are open right now and sure there must be lovely street food out there DD is vegetarian. Any tips people we are on a budget .

Thanks very much.

bbb.

Mildreds is a really nice veggie/vegan restaurant and they have a branch in Camden. Not really budget though.

You'll be spoilt for choice. Stacks of great restaurants close by, lots are very cheap and the market itself has fantastic food stalls. Have fun!

This Indian is fab: www.chaithali.com and I've never been here but vegetarians seem to like it: purezza.co.uk/locations/camden/

fantastic food stalls in the Stables Market area, and by the canal. Loads of options for vegetarians - delicious fallafels, and a great (vegan) hot dog place, can't remember the name, might be Ruby's or something like that - it is almost opposite the Hansel & Gretl sweet shop. Also the cheese bar (right by the Amy Winehouse statue..)
