Honeymoon phase - do you still get it if you're post menopause?

Just that really - you know the stage in an early relationship when you can't keep your hands off each other? Well I'm just wondering if that still happens if you've gone through the menopause? I suppose I'm thinking that it might not if it's just something that happens to make you reproduce but I hope that's not the case.... Can anyone advise from experience? Thanks

Yes it does - in my experience anyway. Honeymoon phase has nothing to do with menopause (I’m very glad to say!) Grin Wink

Thank you, that is great news! Grin

I had a partner when I was going through the menopause. Never fancied him from the off, but the meno made it worse. I'm way post meno, and I've just met someone. It's all alive and kicking..you go girlWink

I'm nearly 10 months into the menopause and I've not noticed any slacking off in libido. I'm meeting a new guy on Saturday and already want to tear his clothes off.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Really pleased to hear that menopause is not the end!
