How to date?

I've been single on and off for 8 years. I have made some pretty rubbish choices so nothing has lasted. I've tried dating apps but am no good at them I pick the wierdos Smile

How can I find half decent dates? I am running out of energy but fed up of being on my own.

I'm 50 not doing too bad all things considered. Well paid job,own house car and savings. People are surprised I'm still single. I need help Grin

Pay for Bumble, it's so much better than any others I've been on.

Completely disagree about paid for sites - in my experience they attract the ones who couldn't pull on a free one 🙄

Also in my experience its very hard not to pick the weirdos as OLD is full of them.

So I guess I'm saying I don't know the answer but I think you're right that it's not OLD. I hope someone less cynical than me has some better advice.

I'm not convinced that men on dating websites actually want a long term relationship.

I guess that means you have to get out and about and try and meet someone. What do you enjoy doing?

I do go dancing and there are plenty of men but they do tend to be players Hmm

It's a matter of perseverance I think. I've dated using online apps for 2.5 years.

It's taken me 2 years to meet a decent, loving, normal man! I've tried Tinder, Bumble, POF and also had a paid subscription to EHarmony.

It was Facebook dating that paid off in the end.

It ain't easy!

It's so not easy Sad

Widen your social circle? Try some new hobbies or classes?

You sound like a catch.
