WhatsApp hidden messages?

Quick question wise mumsnetters: Iis it possible to hide message threads in WhatsApp? So, for example, if someone was worried about another person snooping at their phone. Is there a way to hide a thread from one particular person? Many thanks

You can archive chats but I don't think that is what you're asking

Just archiving I think. I just archived a chat to check but then there is an archive group listed so you could just click into that 😕

Dissapearing messages are now a thing on WhatsApp messenger. So it behaves like Snapchat the second it's read it dissapears sender and reader. The convo just sits blank then.
