This might seem a bit random but I have an ok relationship with my neighbours

They've not long moved in

They made me aware today that there is a gap in our guttering so the water is just going straight into their back garden and has made the fence go mouldy

When they told me they were nice about it they weren't funny at all, they just wanted me to be aware, i am getting the gutter sorted tomorrow

I feel I should replace the fence panel that's gone mouldy on their side, my question is would you people do the same? I can be abit of a pushover at times so just wanted other peoples opinions xx

Mould will usually clean off with a solution of bleach and water. Try that first.

My side of the fence is clean its their side in their garden so I don't really feel like I can say oh have you tried to clean it off lol

I'd say .. I've had the guttering fixed today as I've noticed it's a bit yuck on your side .. can I come and give it a good scrub see if it's salvageable ? Feel a bit responsible, see what they say ?
