I could just use a bit of a virtual hug and if you’re religious, a prayer for my father.

He’s in critical care, we’re wait and see. He’s on multiple life support and his blood pressure is very low. They are trying to increase it but nothing is working so far.

I’m not ready to lose my Dad. I’m 5 months pregnant and in a critical care ward 3 hours away from home, my husband and my toddler.

Thank you, I have had a little something, stress kills my appetite so I’m having to force it down. I’m high risk too, so I’m worried about the impact of the stress, I’m a real bad worried, the can’t eat/ can’t sleep type. All credit to them, the staff are fantastic but I can see in their eyes, they aren’t sure which way this is going to go xx

Definitely hugs, and I'll get cracking on a prayer for your father 💐

He was ok for the first day but he seems to have deteriorated and I’m not sure if they’re willing to keep trying. I don’t think they’ve given him enough time. How can I make them give him more time to get better. This isn’t it, it’s not.

Thank you for asking. So he actually had an amazing day (relatively speaking) and took 4 huge steps forward. Today unfortunately it’s been about 1.5 steps back but overall he’s better than he was. He’s developed a chest infection which in his state could be fatal, so any prayers would be gratefully appreciated!

Are you still with him in hospital and 3hrs away from home? Try to rest frequently and not put too much strain on your back and tummy.
