I am feeling so bored with being restricted due to Corona and was thinking that it would be lovely to go out for a meal. DH was annoying me for being supremely forgetful regarding something we discussed ages ago and I realised in 21 years he has arranged ONE outing to a restaurant for us both...and that was his first date. Have I just taken over? Should this piss me off? I am always the one to suggest going out and he just goes along with it. I would love some romance, but perhaps i have brought this on myself. Do you normally organise nights out, or is your partner the one who does?

He knows you like to do this because you organise it. It sounds incredibly lazy on his part not to organise it, like he's made no effort and you've accepted it for 21 years!

Has he never taken you out for your birthday or Valentine's Day or an anniversary? It's not just that it's not "romantic", it's pretty shocking and disrespectful IMO.

What did you think about it over all of those years? Strange that it would suddenly bother you now when you've put up with it until now.
