First holiday with DP

We've been together 18 months. Just got back from a week's staycation.

I was a little bored, couldn't wait to get back to normality and we ran out of things to talk about.

This isn't a good sign is it? Are we doomed?

Aside from the couple of activities, what else did you over the week to bring you closer together or occupy you?

I've done so many walks since lockdown started that I'd really not want to spend my holiday going on any more, especially if those walks took place in a remote location.

DH and I went on our honeymoon to a remote cottage but we did things everyday - visited new places, took little road trips, went to various beaches with the dog, enjoyed meals out and drinks at the pub etc. Having stuff to do each day meant the lulls that occurred occasionally weren't a problem.

Not much, watched films, played games, mooched around the local village.

We did chat, just not all the time but I guess there is only so much you can say.

Hmm, I think if you're not doing much new, there's not going to be much to talk about.

I wouldn't write it off completely, but I'm a hopeless romantic and would love to find someone I could spend a week with and not be bored shitless!
