What gifts should I take ?

Going to stay with DBinlaw and DS for 2 nights. It will be the first time we have stayed with them (they have been living abroad). They've stayed at ours a few times over recent years - Christmas, new year. We both have 2 children. They don't tend to bring anything when they come to stay which annoys me (I don't show it). I like to bring gifts when I'm visiting friends and family - a bottle of wine, homemade cake, local bits from the farm shop. That kind of thing. Should I not do this, as they obviously don't bother, or is that passive aggressive? Should I be the better person, set a good example? WWYD?! Thanks! Smile

I would bring gifts for the children..some games or an outdoor toy for the nice days. Then maybe a homemade cake ( you will get to eat some!!)
I would always do what l want to do myself never minding what they do.

Thanks @junebirthdaygirl

Good advice. I'm making a cake to take Halo and I've bought a few books for the kids.
