Money.

Kanaloa · 29/06/2021 18:21

Love. If I think about being super rich all the things I think about involve husband & kids - expensive family holidays, bigger house so kids can have own room, able to not work and be together more. I don’t think I’d enjoy all the luxury in the world sitting next to someone I didn’t like.

Ten years ago? Love. Now? Money.

grapewine · 29/06/2021 18:25

I would have to at least like them as a friend though.

MrsSchrute · 29/06/2021 18:27

So we can have loads of one but none at all of the other?
If the choice is that stark, so not a penny to my name, living on the streets with the love of my life, or living alone in a giant gold plated mansion, then I pick money!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 29/06/2021 18:28

money

then I'd buy lots of dogs because their love is unconditional

Same. Money might not buy happiness but it certainly does make life much easier. I hate to admit that my happiness has actually increased the more money I got because it enabled me to build the life I want. I came from a poor background and love wouldn’t have got me where I am in life today.

Money, picking love didn’t get me anywhere 😑

MrsSchrute · 29/06/2021 18:31

In that case I choose love. I'm not fancy!

Seesawmummadaw · 29/06/2021 18:31

From your second post I would say love. I’m with the Beatles on this.

HomicidalPsychoJungleCat · 29/06/2021 19:06

Love. I just left money and security because i was so damn lonely. Ive never been poorer or happier.

marriednotdead · 29/06/2021 19:32

Love. I'm not materialistic anyway but being in a loveless relationship with a comfortable income proved soul destroying.

Less cash now but richer in love than ever, would never trade.

Angrymum22 · 29/06/2021 19:38

Money can come and go, love is a much stronger bond.

Christmasfairy2020 · 29/06/2021 22:04

Money 💰 marriage 💑 divorce

AutumnCrow · 29/06/2021 22:07

What would Jane Austen do?

Summerhillsquare · 29/06/2021 22:24

I manage pretty well without love but I could certainly make good use of a bit more money.

mug2018 · 29/06/2021 22:27

Without a doubt: Love
Money doesn't buy happiness

CheddarGorge · 29/06/2021 22:47

Money and tolerance

SarahBellam · 29/06/2021 22:49

Average jobs and salary would net about £60k. If that was the case I’d choose love every time. I’ve lived in a loveless marriage and we had a combined income of £120k. I was miserable. I just had better shoes and an extra house.

MuchTooTired · 29/06/2021 22:55

Love. You can earn money, I don’t think you can earn love.

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 29/06/2021 23:07

I've always picked love and left guys that have been very wealthy. To be honest, I kind of regret it.

Zerrin13 · 29/06/2021 23:22

Money

FindingMeno · 29/06/2021 23:25

In a partnership, money, deffo.

wobblywinelover · 29/06/2021 23:28

neither I think both come with complications, i've decided i'm done with all of it
