Meeting penpal in person... eek!

I've been penpalling (online only, just through emails and texts) with a British-born guy who has been living abroad since being a teenager. He's now in his early 40s (couple of years older than me).
We "met" via an online group related to a shared interest in travel.
The banter and chat has been great and we've been chatting almost daily for over a year.
He's recently announced that he's moved back to the UK to set up a business (same kind of business he's been doing whilst abroad). He's moving back here to be closer to his parents in their old age, as wants to be around to help them.
He's suggested that we meet once he gets settled here... Why do I feel butterflies in my stomach at the thought of this?
We get on really well and there's been a bit of flirty chat between us. Feel so sickly nervous about meeting him, but really would love to at the same time! help!

It might be because your subconscious is frightened that meeting him might ruin your valued correspondence relationship. You might not like him in person!

How exciting! Do you ever speak to him on the phone and how long have you been chatting online?
Not the same but I have a penpal on death row in America, I've recently filled out the forms so I can go and visit him. We've been friends for about a year. I know a lot of people will have their opinion but he has been a great friend to me, we speak for hours on the phone each week. The thought of visiting him makes me very nervous though!
