Boyfriend sleeping on the sofa

So my boyfriend has this habit of falling asleep on the sofa regularly, it's seems to be, mostly, every other Saturday after having his kid. He says ....its so I can get a undisturbed sleep. Even thou yea I fall asleep but wake up at 1am to turn TV off & the sound of his snoring, ( we live in a room).
We hav been together less then a year, should I be worried?? Is a sign of our relationship struggling?

So you’re in the same room and he doesn’t come to bed, when he normally would? That’s a bit weird, you get all the inconvenience of the tv on and his snoring without the benefit of being able to kick him to shut him up.

Why don't you just wake him up and tell him to come to bed?

Well I went to bed at 9pm cause I was tired from doin a 12 hr shift , I fell asleep , I woke up at 1am & he was asleep on sofa . If I wake him he gets grumpy & snappy. So I turn the TV & go bk to sleep

If he snores I’d be thankful he’s not in the bed! I wish my partner was that considerate 😡

My husband did this six months in after living together because I snore and he tosses and turns a lot, neither of us got much sleep and we'd be moody, im a night owl who snores and he has restless legs and has to be up at 4am for work so we both got on each other's nerves a bit and sleeping separately was our solution and have been together for 22 years and are very happy still. I love him with all my heart I just don't want to sleep next to him :)

He should be putting the tv on sleep mode though so it goes off after so long instead of on all night and waking you up.

Yep I agree about the TV
