So disappointed someone who I thought was genuine.

Someone from DH’s family who’s always been positive and supportive toward me has now shown a two faced side, telling me I can talk to her in private and in the next breath saying ‘do you think this negative thing about DH’.

Now I feel like she was just blowing smoke up my ass and trying to trap me to say something, I’m going to pull right back now. I don’t think the thing she said about him and I told her so.

So disappointed, DH thinks so highly of this person 😞

I long ago discovered that the best people to confide in are total strangers.

Oooh @PartTimeLegend
That is a very profound point of view.

As painful as it is, when someone shows you their true colours, believe them.

DHRelly to OP: Do you think this negative thing about DH?
OP to DHRelly: 'Hmm, dunno... yeh s'pose so'

DHRelly to other people: "OP said she thinks this negative thing about DH'
