Was walking my usual dog walk and he was mowing the large piece of grass at the park. We noticed each other a 100 yards away. The first thing I noticed was his big thick beard... I absolutely love beards.. it's really my thing! He drove towards me and we smiled at each other, and then again as he rode past. We said 'hiya'. He had the biggest smile.

And now I can't stop thinking about it... ARRRGGGHHH! 😂

Plus do you know anyone who works for the council ?

They do the park at the end of my road every fortnight so you might see him again if you time it right! Ask him to have a look at your overgrown garden if you’re cheeky enough (I wouldn’t myself!)

I did this with my neighbours builder last year.

He was like a love at first sight dream. He said he had felt the same. Told me neighbour I was lovely.

I added him on Facebook. We fell in love and started planning a future.

Gradually started to realise he was a liar. A player. Loads of others on the go. Women he had hurt by leading them on like me. His ex was still in his life as a friend but he was obsessed with her still. Stuck in the pass.

But I remember those days when he was a mystery and everytime I saw him I had butterflies.

I’ve been having sex dreams about a man at work. He smells so good, he talks quieter with me so I have to move closer to hear him. Last week I was a bit moody and towards the end of the day he asked if I was ok and I said yes I’m fine and he moved closer to me, looked me straight in my eyes and said quietly we’ll smile then...and he touched my arm twice and back once last week!! Now I’ve convinced myself he’s flirting with me. You definitely need to factor that park into your regular walks. If nothing you’ll get fitter for when you do actually start going out with mr gardener (being optimistic). Can you tell I’ve found lock down boring? And to those saying he’s poor he probably has a good pension if he’s in the council

Ha! I like your description. Very evocative. I’ve only been single for the latter part of lockdown as (happily) split with beardless cocklodger father of my child. But that’s another story. I’m happily single for now but do enjoy beard-spotting for eye candy when I’m out and about. Luckily my area is fairly hipster ish (although I’m not) so plenty of choice of beards to check out. Passes the time.
