I am so tired of working, meeting, and dating horrible people.
People who are utterly selfish and have no consideration for others. People who actively harm you and others. People who are so dysfunctional.
For example, all my managers, except for one, were always holding me back from promotion, despite me being very good at my job. Most of the guys I've dated have been abusive twats.
I come from a really loving, well balanced family. I am popular among friends, and have several really close friends since my uni years.
So I am struck by how many awful people there are around.
Sorry for the negativity and awful rant. I know it's not all bad in the world, and there are more good than bad. But there is just so much badness! I'm lucky I have a lovely family, and great friends etc. Christ, though, it's a real hard path at work professionally, and when I get out and about.
I wonder if it's part of city living? I am based in the capital. Or are there jerks everywhere?
Anyone else feel the same?
