I am sitting with my little girl watching mr tumble and go from feeling joyous and free to absolutely devastated that my marriage is over.

After months of bullying and verbal abuse yesterday he started up again and was behaving like things were going to get physical.

He was arrested last night. The police are applying for an order to keep him away for 28 days.

I didn't think I would ever have the balls and nor did he. My heart hurts

The police can be so annoying - making a song and dance in public out of someone's pain. Been there. Angry

Keep posting on here for practical help and advice. Well done. .

How are you feeling today?

iLTB · 16/06/2021 20:07

Well I had a message from a neighbour asking if I was okay. The police told the local shop keeper they were at my house when they went for snacks Sad

I've had messages from my MIL. It's meant to be our wedding anniversary tomorrow. I got my brother to tell my family so that I don't get messages in the morning on our family chat. Bit of an emotional rollercoaster.

Most neighbours who hear will feel like we do on this thread - you are a brave and loving mother to take decisive action. Don't worry about people knowing - that's just more people on your side. Bloody well done, OP.

I hope you get some rest and feel better.

Well done, a very very positive and inspiring post for many, most importantly your daughter.

Take a breath, drink some water and even if it is only for a moment, congratulate yourself.

Amazing, you've got this.

Ardvark111 · 16/06/2021 22:55

Can't believe the police Been discussing with local shopkeeper,!! Wtf,?? You may want to take that up with a police sergeant or solicitor if you have / get 1,?

Christmasfairy2020 · 16/06/2021 23:17

Well done. I'd be terrified of what the neighbours thought more than anything. Do not get bk with him xx
