Has this happened to anyone? We did this the day before I ovulated and now panicking. I know it’s a silly question. I know it’s technically possible and we shouldn’t have dome it, we are not kids Blush has this actually happened to anyone? Panicking and helps to post. Have NC but regular poster.

This is the second post of this ilk in the last few days. It's not impossible but it's improbable.

Embarrassed28 · 12/06/2021 11:40

Please could you send the link? Thank you

It's certainly possible. Why not go to the pharmacy and get the morning after pill - just in case?

Embarrassed28 · 12/06/2021 11:45

I didn’t think about it at the time then noticed this morning that I would have ovulated the day after.

You may or may not be pregant.

Get the morning after pill and sort out your contaception as a couple. Jeez.

ZealAndArdour · 12/06/2021 12:33

Morning after pill won’t work if OP has already ovulated. She either needs a coil or to cross her fingers and make peace with maybe being pregnant.

Embarrassed28 · 12/06/2021 12:37

I don’t think it actually happens in practice does it. There’s just a technical chance of it!

It does happen but hopefully won't. You can take map if there is any doubt at all about ovulation date but otherwise , if you don't want to be pregnant track down an emergency coil fitting. This is not an unusual management of your situation at all. It needs to be done in the next few days though and with cuts to services you may need to work to find a local clinic. There will be a service though.

Norabatty40 · 12/06/2021 13:04

Oh come on its highly unlikely

Nohomemadecandles · 12/06/2021 13:07

What's your definition of brief?

MarshmallowAra · 12/06/2021 13:13

V unlikely but I read it depends if the man has sperm in pre ejaculate, which varies by man.

Get the coil if past map time. One week maybe for coil (?)

MarshmallowAra · 12/06/2021 13:15

If you don't want to worry about being pregnant, don't have sex without at least one form of contraception.

user1471538283 · 12/06/2021 13:57

I doubt it very much but you may like to take a morning after pill?

Redyellowpink · 12/06/2021 13:59

Oh come on its highly unlikely

ILookAtTheFloor · 12/06/2021 14:06

Incredibly slim to none chance.

Incredibly slim to none chance.
You say that........ But I have one of these events sleeping upstairs right now She was very much planned but because I had a UTI that month we didn't have sex. We'd started and got as far as was mentioned in the OP and then it got uncomfortable as I needed to pee because of the UTI so we stopped. She's nearly 6 now.
Whatabambam · 12/06/2021 22:44

I got pregnant in these circumstances. It can happen.

NoProblem123 · 12/06/2021 23:01

Your friend posted about this this morning

JustAnotherOldMan · 12/06/2021 23:11

Of course you could get pregnant, pre-ejection fluid can still contain live sperm

Only precum by itself cannot cause pregnancy. Because semen is absent in the liquid

Your own link says Pre-cum or pre-ejaculatory fluid seeps before ejaculation during intercourse. Only precum by itself cannot cause pregnancy. Because semen is absent in the liquid. However, sometimes the situation may arise when sperm may leak out before ejaculation and mix with the precum making the pregnancy inevitable.

iklboo · 14/11/2021 21:57

Since this thread was started in June I'm pretty sure OP would have found out if she's pregnant or not by now.

I'm quite surprised at how many women swear they got pregnant with no ejaculation. I've been told by more than one sexual health nurse/doctor that this is almost impossible, and that people who think it happened to them tend to forget the time the previous week they had full sex, or omit that the man had recently ejaculated.

And the reason I was even at the clinic was for having counselling about a fear of pregnancy, which was so bad I was afraid to have sex at all.
