I don’t think any sane, intelligent person is ever completely care free. Even when I was a child I had worries constantly. New events, new relationships, new happy times, they also bring with them worries. It’s just life. Flowers

I can feel moments of carefreeness, that light happy feeling. That’s gotta be good enough.

It's wonderful. I only ever had the feeling once. I was in hospital and I had nothing to worry about except getting well. I was the best rest cure I ever had.

It feels like making your own choices and taking the time to recognise that all. Yes, I have children and responsibilities but I'm consciously choosing them, choosing to care and work for them. I have a boyfriend but that's a choice, too. When I was unhappily married, it felt like a lot of my life and future was out of my hands, so I cherish every moment now and appreciate how lucky I am for the relative health and wealth, love and family I do have.
