You don’t need change your name by deed poll if the reason you’re changing it is for marriage. You just have to update each document individually and show your marriage certificate to each one.

This is what I originally thought too! until reading up on the way I want to do it, it becomes blurry! Some ways you need deed poll and I can't find my instance as an example so wanted to see if anyone else had done it the way I want to.
This picture shows similar idea, just the other way...

If you change your surname I think you can just use your marriage certificate for evidence if you need it. If you change your forename (s) you need a Deed poll. So I kept my maiden name as a middle name and had to get a Deed poll. It was an absolute pain in the arse. Perhaps double barrelling the kids names would be easier so they have both their parents names but you get to keep yours?

Hmmm but I think you’re changing your name to two surnames rather than keeping one as a middle name? So you shouldn’t have to do it with deed poll as it’s your surname that’s changing?

The obvious solution is to give the kids your name? Why do anything else?

Your DH can also adopt that name. Way less convoluted
