Would you find this suspicious?

When I was pregnant my boyfriend cheated on me with his friend. She told me that they kissed but he told her that we weren't together so she kissed him back but then she found out we were still together so she felt awful. I confronted him but he told me he was drunk but he doesn't drink so I knew he was lying. I broke up with him and we didn't message for a while until I was about 7 months pregnant (about 3 months later) he apologised and admitted he did kiss her but felt guilty and that he lied about us not being together as he thought I was going to break up with him (we had a small argument but I wasn't going to break up with him over it). We agreed to be friends and I allowed him to be at the birth. In March he asked if we could get back together, I said yes as he proved I could trust him and he was a good dad to our baby, he also told me he blocked his friend. Last night I went on his phones when he was asleep (not to snoop) and a message popped up from her and she said something like ‘i miss you, we should see each other soon ❤️’. I didn't click on the message and I haven't confronted him as I wanted to wait and see what he replied. I haven't looked yet as I haven't had a chance but would you find this suspicious?

If course its suspicious. At the very least, he hasn't blocked her.

seensome · 23/05/2021 13:15

Of course it is, are you in denial

Namechanged1244 · 23/05/2021 13:34

No, I'm not in denial I just wanted to know if I was overreacting

You are not over reacting, she either does not want their friendship to end or he has 2 ladies on the go.

Sorry, it must be very hard with a young one, it sounds as though the foundations of your relationship were not firm enough when you became peregnant and had your child.

He has not grown up yet.

ItsNotLoveActually · 23/05/2021 13:43

Well he lied about blocking her. I wouldn't confront him yet. See if you can get onto his phone again - if you need further proof. Has he been behaving any different towards you? Any other suspicious behaviour?

bigbeatmanifesto · 23/05/2021 13:55

Not overreacting he's breeched your trust again.
What an arsehole.
Hope your okay, I'd definitely confront him about it and tell him no use in lying anymore as you've been caught out once before he obviously finds truth telling difficult.

No he hasn't been acting differently and he hasn't been hiding his phone or anything so I'm just so shocked as he knows I know his password as well.
