One night stand

Hi!
I have name changed for this as I feel terrible.
Last night I went out and had a few drinks with a friend. It was my first night out since before Covid and being a single mum I wanted to make the most of it!
Anyway to cut a long story short I ended up bumping into a guy I went to school with. Just for context we do not get on, we never have, so I don’t even know how this happened.
He ended up at mine and we had sex and now I am absolutely mortified that I’ve brought a guy back to mine and shagged him in my bed where my little boy creeps in nearly every night!
The sex isn’t the problem, it was a 2 year drought so it was nice! I just feel really ashamed and a bit mortified. I’ve actually had to come down my mums for the night coz the house is giving me the “ick”.
Why do I feel so bad! I could honestly cry!!!!!

Don't be so hard on yourself. You had too much to drink and lowered your guard. You're coming down from the alcohol and feeling really bad but in a few days you'll be over it.

LawnFever · 16/05/2021 18:51

Oh don’t give yourself a hard time, it’s not the end of the world Smile

inmyslippers · 16/05/2021 18:53

Sorry to hear you're feeling this way. Did you use protection? I personally don't think you have anything to feel bad about. However, what matters is how you feel about it. It's done now so there's no changing it.

More than likely hangziety, after a night drinking everything feels 10x more terrible than it would if you weren't hungover! Give your room a good scrub when you go home, fresh sheets and you will be good to go

You’ve done nothing wrong. You’ll look back and laugh when the hangover’s worn off Wink

Rainbow321 · 16/05/2021 18:55

Just to be on the safe side, I'd consider the morning after pull . At the end of the day , what's done is done forget about it , change the sheets and move on 😀

But if you had a partner you'd be having sex in your son's home every night :D

You've done nothing wrong! You had the horn, you fucked a random, he went home, the end. No drama!

You've got "the fear." Life feels a bit overwhelming with a hangover. Write off today and tomorrow will be better. 💐

OldChinaJug · 16/05/2021 19:01

Congratulations! You have just reminded yourself that you're a whole person and not just your child's mother. Your bed isn't just your and your child's safe nest, it's also a place where you can be a woman.

That's the guilt you're feeling.

I get it though. I separated from daughter's father when she was 6. I didn't have a man in the house to stay over until she was 14. It felt weird because my bed is where she and I had sleepover and would watch films on a Sunday morning.

But I'm an adult and I deserve a full life. As do you.just change the sheets Wink

Sadloveheart · 16/05/2021 19:02

You’re allowed to have sex in your bed with whoever takes your fancy. Your boy won’t know or care! Just change the sheets. Forget about it and move on Grin

Ruby0707 · 16/05/2021 19:04

It's your home too! You are entitled to use it as you wish and doesn't sound like something you do regularly.

Newnamewhodis21 · 16/05/2021 20:03

Thank you everyone!
I’m gonna treat myself to some new sheets and forget the thing ever happened 🙈😭
