Strange trend of people getting engaged in SM then suddenly it’s over

Has anyone else noticed this? I notice someone got engaged and I think how nice that is. 2 weeks later the fiancé has disappeared from their life completely.

Maybe men propose because they did something wrong? Not always I know...

How old are you? This has literally never happened on my social media.

Not something I've noticed.

Sometimes people get engaged to try and fix things, then find it doesn't work.

Do you know what trend means? One person doing it doesn't t make it a trend. I think you're a bit confused

Are you / your friends quite young? i have seen this occasionally among my DDs friends, when they were all 16 or 17. Its never happened with my friends.

No not young personally. But I do have friends of all different ages.
