Single and wanting a baby

Long story short I've been through a rough road of relationships, enough to put me off men forever. I am living the single life and I couldn't be happier. My daughter is now nearly 7 and I would love another baby. Where do I start with sperm donors? Donation? Sperm banks? Some advice would be helpful how to go about this.

I don’t have any advice but I just wanted to say ‘good for you’. Go for it xx

I suppose the first thing to consider is can you afford a child alone and do you have the capacity to care for him/her without a partner (even an ex), what is your support network like? Would your family etc be supportive of you going it alone deliberately?

If the answer is ok then you can order sperm on a diy basis from banks but I would speak to your gp first
