Dinners

I love going out to dinner and trying various cuisines (Greek, Japanese, Ethiopian for example). DP is the complete opposite and will not go to any restaurant that doesn't have any of a very small number of things that he likes. As we share a common circle of friends most trips to pub etc involve both of us and their partners. I'd find it strange to invite people out without DP there.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to meet people to have dinner with? If there was a dating app but to meet people just for dinner without the date part I'd be on it like a shot!
