Is there an app for meeting people but not dating

Recently split with H and wondering if anyone knows of an app for meeting people on a social and not romantic basis.
Such as other people who find themselves at a lose end at the weekend / common interest groups
I do have a lot of friends but don't live particularly close and everyone has other things going on
Restrictions are meant to be ending soon so I'd like to have more of a social life

Bumble has a friend mode I believe

Yep, Bumble has a friends option.

The Meetup app is excellent for finding groups. I'm in a cinema and theatre lovers group but there are loads on there and not geared to dating.

DD has used bumble friend a lot whilst abroad and thinks it’s really good. Meet-up is also recommended. There is a franchise called Spice which used to be great, wide range of activities, really something for everyone: not sure how it’s working now but worth looking up. My tip: if you meet some like-minded people these things are great. So persist, go more than once and to different things.

I’ve met people through local Facebook groups
