Partners mental health - is there anything I can do?

I've namechanged for this. But on Tuesday my partner attempted suicide, he was admitted to hospital overnight and he spoke to the mental health team and he was discharged on Wednesday afternoon. He said he didn't plan it but he was prescribed anti depressants. The anti depressants are going to take a few weeks to work but last night he told me that he doesn't want to feel how he's feeling anymore and that he wants to be happy and a good dad to DS.

Is there anything I can do?Sad

I would say leave it to the mental health team as this very serious and you are not responsible. Just support him in accessing all the help that is there. The most important thing you can do is take care of yourself.
