Opinions on FIZ in coronation street?

What do you think to the storyline? Do you think she is being a psychopath over the kiss with alina??? Just curious on others' thoughts x

No mention of The Girls being with their own parent... They have 1 each biologically.
Not sure the dc know that.. Will Alina want a dc that isn't even her bf's around? Quite forgotten which one is The Firestarter... Great for hanging out with Ty in a garage containing petrol

Not normally a huge fan of Fizz, but I think she's nailed this storyline from an acting point of view. She goaded Ty into saying he loved Alina, but the thought must have been there for him to say it. I think she could have got over a kiss, but knew it was more to him.

What a dickhead! Can't stand Alina either - she acts like a 16 year old.

I hated watching last nights episodes - both the Fizz/Ty and Leanne things were just too hard.

I think he’s left his daughter there because she’s with her “sister” and “mother” figures. They’ll have to work out how they move forward in who lives where with who. I’d like to see Fizz turn into one of those strong Coronation st females that stands her ground and fights for herself a bit.

Pretty much sums it up, yes. If he was having some sort of slow burner with um, say, marie - urgh it would be more believable.

Alina is pretty but not that attractive and fairly two dimensional.

The bit I don't get, Tyrone has left HIS house (left to him by Jack and Vera), left HIS daughter with Fizz and her daughter and moved out...... They're not married, have no kids together, the house belongs to Tyrone, so why has HE moved out?

Much the same with Nick and Leanne. It's NICKS flat, yet he's moved out and Leanne has demanded his key off him tonight.

This really irritates me, most people in real life wouldn't move out if it's theirs

The writers should have taken advantage of this storyline to dispel the myth of common-law marriage. Legally, Tyrone has every right to chuck Fiz and Hope out on the street and move Alina in (or even marry her) immediately.

And presumably Tyrone wouldn't even have to pay maintenance to Fiz as Hope isn't even his biological child unless he adopted her which I don't think he has. Must not take this too seriously. Grin

They probably will - in about eight weeks time, when they've read this thread and modified the script!

I reckon it will come out that Fiz was added to the deeds or mortgage a while ago so the house it just as much hers. They always do things like that, important details just happened and were not talked about.

But very much agree that the story line would be great to dispel the common law wife myth and show up how vulnerable Fiz is, facing being made homeless.

I'm pretty sure they stole the idea to make Emma Steve's long-lost daughter from online forums, so that wouldn't shock me!

I think it’s unlikely they will last , Ty will find he has nothing in common with Little Miss Insipid, or she will get bored and move on to someone else leaving Ty high and dry.
It’s a nice break from the Leanne and Si storyline, that is doing my head in.

Ah , we’re only up to where Ty is trying to sort things out with Fiz . She walked out of a meal with Ty after Sally approached her and said she knew about Ty kidding Alina . I was surprised it’s not like Sally to gossip . LMAO.

Alina is probably more of a moaner than Fizz though. She’s always moaning and wow is me! She did this with Seb too. Toyed with him while he was with Emma, said they mustn’t get together and hurt Emma, batted her eyelids, played Romeo and Juliette, then when Seb left Emma nothing really happened and she turned her attention to Tyrone. She likes the chase!

I said the same thing about his house and Nicks flat.Dd was laughing at my rant. How Leane is paying rent for that flat is beyond me, Nick was paying before he moved out. Fizz has been treating Tyronne horribly for ages, and he was taking it. Doomed to fail.

My view is that when a couple don't have sex reasonably regularly, have a relationship where they take each other for granted and it's a bit brother-sister, and make it all about the children with no time on their own as a couple, that relationship will 100% fail. It stands to reason. Fizz can't honestly be all that surprised.

Maybe Tyrone could have tried to talk to Fizz about it and how he felt and they could have tried to fix things, instead he took the easy way with a roving eye. Sadly plays out in too many real relationships, and it doesnt mean it will 100% fail if both try to fix things, but instead of being honest and telling Fizz he jumped ship.

The fact that Alina fell for Tyrone and actively pursued him even though he was in a relationship when she’d refused to get involved with Adam because he was married to Sarah but actually separated at the time is ridiculous.

Yeah yeah personality counts and all that but come on, Tyrone over Adam? 🤨

Tyrone knew what he was doing and had tried to stay away from Alina initially but then thought fuck it, I want some excitement. Fiz wasn’t psycho at all and yes she may have lost herself in the mother / wife role but Tyrone should have talked to her and respected her more.

She did go a bit OTT over the kiss but soon calmed down and she and Tyrone were working on their relationship, at that stage he didn't want to break up and said he loved Fiz.

Now Tyrone has left her.

I feel sorry for Fiz and the children.

I think Tyrone will want to return in due course.

A good story line and something that happens in real life.
